Late on Monday I gave early picks for Week 7. The picks are not finalized yet but here are some notes to consider when picking this week. All records are against the spread for this season.

Seahawks +7 @ 49ers

The Seahawks are 0-2 against the NFC West with both losses on the road. This is the 49ers first division game. The home favorite on Wednesday/Thursday nights are 1-3 this season. 

Tennessee +3 @ Bills

Matt Hasselback starts with Jake Locker still hurt. The Titans are 0-1 against the AFC East.

Cardinals +6 @ Vikings

John Skelton takes over for the injured Kevin Kolb. West coast teams going more than two times zones east for a 1 pm ET start are 4-3 this season. The Vikings are 1-0 against the NFC West.

Browns +3 @ Colts

This is a crossover game between two teams that finished in last place in 2011. The Browns already played one of those game against the Bills and lost.

Ravens +6.5 @ Texans

The Ravens lost Ray Lewis and Lardarius Webb for the season last game. Houston just lost their first game to Green Bay on Sunday.

Packers -5.5 @ Rams

The Packers are 0-2 against the NFC West. The Rams are 1-1 against the NFC North.

Cowboys -2 @ Panthers

The Cowboys are 0-1 against the NFC South. The Panthers are 0-1 against the NFC East. The Panther were on bye last week and teams coming off the bye week are 5-1 so far.  

Redskins +5.5 @ Giants

Line was at Redskins +6.5 on Monday. This is the Redskins first division game. The Giants are 0-1-1 against their own division.

Saints -3 @ Buccaneers 

The Saints are 0-1 against their division. The Buccaneers are 1-0 against division foes. The Buccaneers are a home underdog that is getting between 2.5 and 3.5 points. In this case, the home underdog is 10-4.

Jets +10.5 @ Patriots 

The Jets are 2-0 against their division. The Patriots are 1-0 against their division. In game where the spread is double digits, the favorite is 4-2.

Jaguars +4 @ Raiders 

Jaguars were on bye last week. Eastern or central time zone teams going more than two time zones west are 4-8.

Steelers -1.5 @ Bengals 

Line was at Steelers -2.5 on Monday. The Steelers are 0-3 on the road. The Bengals are 0-2-1 against their division.

Lions +6 @ Bears 

Line was at Lions +5 on Monday. Both teams are 0-1 against their division.
