Had a strong weekend in Week 8 of college football and Week 7 of the NFL. Despite a good Saturday and Sunday, I was 0-3 in pool plays and contest picks last Thursday. One of the reasons I don’t make official picks on Thursday is because handicapping a game on a short week is difficult. Games are harder to predict and there is less time to gain information about both teams. There’s one college game and one NFL game to pick for contests on Thursday:

Virginia Tech (+3) over Miami
