NFL Schedule Analysis

Wrote about the four teams I have placed a preseason NFL bet on.

Here are the biggest schedule takeaway I have about each NFL team using 2020 regular season win totals to measure strength of schedule from Warren Sharp:

Cardinals: Easiest schedule from Weeks 2-5, three straight road games from Weeks 4-6, three straight home games from Weeks 7-10 with bye in Week 8, third toughest schedule from Weeks 10-17.

Falcons: Toughest schedule from Weeks 1-17, seventh easiest schedule from Weeks 1-9, toughest by far in Weeks 11-17, two outdoor road games to finish year.

Ravens: Fourth easiest schedule from Weeks 1-17, toughest schedule from Weeks 6-14, easiest finish in final three weeks, four primetime games in five between Weeks 10-14.

Bills: Fifth easiest schedule from Weeks 1-5, toughest schedule from Weeks 6-16.

Panthers: Sixth toughest schedule from Weeks 1-17, late bye in Week 13.

Bears: Sixth easiest schedule from Weeks 1-17, fifth easiest schedule from Weeks 1-6.

Bengals: Four tough road games between Weeks 2-6, easiest schedule from Weeks 11-13.

Browns: Third easiest schedule from Weeks 1-17, easiest schedule from Weeks 2-17, not much travel from Weeks 5-11.

Cowboys: Ninth easiest schedule from Weeks 1-17, second easiest schedule from Weeks 5-7.

Broncos: Fifth toughest schedule from Weeks 1-17.

Lions: Eighth easiest schedule from Weeks 1-17, early bye in Week 5, fourth toughest schedule from Weeks 13-17.

Packers: Early bye in Week 5, third toughest schedule from Weeks 1-9.

Texans: Toughest schedule by far in first four weeks.

Colts: Easiest schedule from Weeks 1-17, sixth toughest schedule from Weeks 9-16.

Jaguars: Easiest schedule from Weeks 3-6, second toughest schedule from Weeks 8-17.

Chiefs: Easiest schedule from Weeks 7-14.

Raiders: Fourth toughest schedule from Weeks 1-7, toughest schedule from Weeks 2-17, three straight home games from Weeks 14-16.

Chargers: Fifth easiest schedule from Week 1-17, second toughest schedule from Weeks 2-5, easiest schedule from Weeks 6-16.

Rams: Third toughest schedule from Weeks 1-3, four eastern time zone games in first eight weeks, toughest schedule from Weeks 10-12.

Dolphins: Stay in state of Florida from Weeks 2-4, second easiest schedule from Weeks 6-13, three straight home games from Weeks 13-15.

Vikings: Sixth toughest schedule from Weeks 1-5, three straight home games from Weeks 11-13.

Patriots: Toughest schedule from Weeks 1-10, third easiest schedule from Weeks 11-17.

Saints: Toughest schedule from Weeks 8-16, three straight road games from Weeks 12-14.

Giants: Second toughest schedule from Weeks 1-17, toughest schedule in first five weeks.

Jets: Third toughest schedule from Weeks 1-17, toughest schedule in first nine weeks, second easiest schedule from Weeks 10-13.

Eagles: Easiest schedule in first three weeks, toughest schedule from Weeks 4-6, third toughest schedule from Weeks 11-16.

Steelers: Easiest schedule from Weeks 10-15.

49ers: Second easiest schedule in first five weeks, third toughest schedule from Weeks 6-17.

Seahawks: Third toughest schedule from Weeks 8-12. Easiest schedule from Weeks 13-15.

Buccaneers: Fourth easiest schedule from Weeks 2-17. September game in Denver, late bye in Week 13.

Titans: Second easiest schedule from Weeks 1-17. Three straight home game from Weeks 3-5.

Redskins: Fourth toughest schedule in first seven weeks, easiest schedule in Weeks 9-11, toughest schedule from Weeks 12-15 and Weeks 12-14 are all on the road.
